About Dr Jane

Dr Jane Leonard MBcHB BSc HONS (1st class), MRCGP

Dr Jane is a GP and cosmetic doctor, qualifying at The University of Manchester in 2007. She also has a first class hons degree in anatomical sciences, in which she focused her studies on the anatomy of the face, head and neck.

After completing her junior doctor training, Jane moved to Melbourne, Australia where she spent two years working in Dermatology research at The Alfred Hospital Medical Research Centre. Her work was published in the prestigious Australasian Journal of Dermatology.

On her return to the UK, Jane completed her GP training in North West London and continued her passion in skin conditions and anti-ageing medicine by training in aesthetic medicine on London’s Harley Street.

During the Covid 19 pandemic, Jane returned to the NHS full time to become one of the founding doctors of the Covid 19 hot hub escalation centre in Soho, London. Jane worked on the frontline at this service throughout the pandemic.

Today Jane splits her time between working as an NHS GP and cosmetic doctor. Jane’s cosmetic clinics are based in central London. She regularly returns to her home town in the North West and holds monthly cosmetic clinics in Liverpool and Manchester.

Jane has 10 years of cosmetic medicine experience. She is a trainer with Interface Aesthetics, which is a medical aesthetics training company for other medical professionals who are entering the field.

Jane is regularly featured in the media talking about health issues, aesthetic medicine and her personal and professional experience of working as a frontline doctor during the pandemic.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, Grazia, Women’s Health, The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan and Sheerluxe.
